Samsung Galaxy Note 5 - Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is an Android phablet smartphone developed and produced by Samsung Electronics. Unveiled on 13 August 2015, it is a successor to the Galaxy Note 4 as part of the Samsung Galaxy Note series.

The Galaxy Note 5 carries over hardware and software features from the Galaxy S6, including a refreshed design with a glass backing and a spring-loaded stylus, improved camera and fingerprint scanner, built in live streaming functionality, and additional features meant for use with the device's bundled stylus. The device was released together with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+.

The Galaxy Note 5 received positive reviews from critics, who praised the device's upgraded build quality over prior models, along with improvements to its performance, camera, and other changes. Similarly to the S6, Samsung's decision to remove the ability to expand its storage or remove the battery was panned as being potentially alienating to power users even moreso on the Note 5 due to how the series has historically been positioned.

The Galaxy Note 5 adopts a similar design and construction to the Galaxy S6, featuring an unibody metal frame and glass backing, although unlike the standard S6, the back of the device is curved. It is offered in dark blue, white, gold, and silver color finishes. The storage slot for the S Pen stylus uses a spring-loaded mechanism to eject the pen.

The Galaxy Note 5 shipped with Android 5.1 "Lollipop". The new "Screen off memo" feature allows the phone to be awoken directly to a note screen when the stylus is removed. The Camera app on the Note 5 also allows public and private live streaming directly to YouTube, and supports export of RAW images.

Samsung Galaxy S7 - Specifications

Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are Android smartphones manufactured and marketed by Samsung Electronics. The S7 series is a successor to the 2015 Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, and was officially unveiled on 21 February 2016 during a Samsung press conference at Mobile World Congress, with a European and North American release scheduled for 11 March 2016.

As with the S6, the S7 is produced in a standard model, as well as an "Edge" variant whose screen is wrapped along the sides of the device. The Galaxy S7 is an evolution of the prior year's model, restoring design traits from the Galaxy S5 such as IP certification for water and dust protection, as well as expandable storage.

The Galaxy S7's hardware design is largely identical to that of the S6, retaining its metal and glass chassis, but with refinements such as a flatter home button, and a thinner protrusion for the camera. Both models will be available in dark grey and gold colors; a silver version is exclusive to the S7 Edge. The S7 and S7 Edge are IP68-certified for dust and water protection; unlike the Galaxy S5, the S7's ports are sealed and thus, do not have protective flaps.

All Galaxy S7 devices feature 4 GB of RAM. International models are equipped with a Samsung Exynos 8890 system-on-chip, while North American models utilize a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (the Galaxy S6 used Exynos chips worldwide due to overheating issues regarding the Snapdragon 810) with quad-core Kyro CPU and Adreno 530 GPU. The S7 includes either 32 or 64 GB of internal storage (in most markets only the 32 GB model will be available). The micro SD card slot was restored, enabling expansion of storage capacity. In some markets the micro SD slot can be used for dual sim. Both the S7 and S7 Edge feature a 1440p Super AMOLED display; the S7 has a 5-1-inch panel, while the S7 Edge now uses a larger 5.5-inch panel. As with the prior model, the S7 Edge's screen is curved along the side bezels of the device. Micromax Canvas Nitro smartphone was launched in September 2014. The phone comes with a 5.00-inch touchsceen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels at a PPI of 294 pixels per inch.

The Micromax Canvas Nitro is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core Mediatek 6592 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM.        PROS OF CANVAS NITRO

The Micromax Canvas Nitro 4G has a good look and feel. Also, it is not very heavy. The curved edges add to the design aesthetics of the device. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 octa-core processor and a 2 GB DDR 3 RAM can take on any application with ease. Switching between several apps is not a problem on the device.

The phone’s cameras is truly the icing on the cake. Although there is no professional mode, Micromax has included several modes to make clicking pictures easier and fun. Modes like Sunset, Landscape, Snow, Candlelight, Night, Action, Party, Night portrait and Steady photo and Backlight among others makes it an all purpose camera. The front camera is seems to be satisfactory.

Interestingly, the phone comes with lot of pre-installed apps like Chaatz, Scandid, Hotstar, Housing Newshunt, Clean Master, Quikr, Saavn and Snapdeal.

       CONS OF CANVAS NITRO

This phone does heat up when playing 'heavy' games. Thus, it runs out of charge too soon. These game affect the phone's peformance. Also the Micromax Canvas Nitro 4G loses charge while downloading heavy files on Wi-Fi. The Micromax Canvas Nitro 4G is a good all-round performer except for its battery which definitely needs to improve.

SHARP AQUOS CRYSTAL - SPECIFICTAIONS

Sprint announced its latest smartphone, the nearly bezel-free Sharp Aquos Crystal.

The Aquos Crystal features a 5-inch edge-to-edge 720p display, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage packed in a 10mm-thick body.

This model will run on Android KitKat 4.4.2, and is equipped with Harman Kardon speakers, an 8MP rear camera and a 1.2MP selfie cam.

Aquos crystal blackThe Aquos Crystal comes in black or white, and will be available via Sprint’s Easy Pay program for $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $10.

Virgin Mobile customers can also get their hands on a white version of the Crystal for $150, whilethe black version is available to Boost Mobile customers for the same price.

The announcement comes a day after Sharp announced the Aquos Crystal X – a Japan-only model – which boasts a 5.5-inch screen with 1080p display and larger memory capacities.

There are currently no plans to bring the Crystal X to the states.

SAMSUNG GALAXY J7 - SPECIFICATIONS, PROS AND CONS

Samsung has now presented in China their models of  entry-level smartphone series Galaxy J. As expected, these are the Samsung Galaxy J5 SM-J500 with 5 inches and the Galaxy J7 SM-J700 with 5.5 inches.

Both smartphones offer each a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and as a special front a 5MP Selfiecam with LED flash and wide-angle lens. In this post we are going to review about all new samsung galaxy j7.


Galaxy j7's features start with the 5.5" Super AMOLED screen (Samsung's latest units have all had accurate colors and great sunlight legibility). There's also a 64-bit octa-core processor, a selfie camera with a dedicated LED flash and a main camera with a wide f/1.9 aperture and Pro mode.

Samsung launches the Galaxy J7 and J5 Galaxy in China in the color options, black and white. The Galaxy J5 is for around 1,400 yuan (~ 200 Euro) and the Galaxy J7 for 1,800 yuan (256 euros).
