At last regardless of all the speculations boasting that a whole new flagship device from Xiaomi was rolling, the company has just unveiled a brand new version of the previous year’s Mi Note 2 .
There have been quite a lot of reports buzzing in recent times that Xiaomi was gearing up for the release of a new flagship device which was being expected to be the successor of the Mi Mix or a Plus variant of the Mi6 but unfortunately all of these speculations turned out to be a myth , the company did release a phone today , but it surely was not a new one but actually a fresh variant of a pre-existing model .
To recollect, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 had already been released in October past year, with dual-edged curved glass on both the front and rear side. The handset was introduced in three variants: a 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage model, a 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model, and a Worldwide Edition 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model with support for global LTE brands. The latest version fills the lineup, adding a 6GB/ 64GB storage model - providing those who have an interest in 6GB of RAM however likely to accept much less storage at a lower price range. The handset is already in the marketplace in China, and will only be presented in a Black color version for now.
The camera on the back is a 22.5MP Sony IMX318 sensor with an aperture of F/2.0, the front of the phone hosts an 8MP Sony IMX 318 sensor with features such as 76 degrees wide angled view. The rear cam also comes with tons of features such as laser autofocus, 4k video recording, and Electronic image stabilization as well.
There have been no announcements by Xiaomi regarding the launch of this device in India or elsewhere, however, if you want to try this phone its available for sale at all the major Chinese e-commerce websites.
