Metal Case for Samsung Galaxy S6 - Leaked photos

When you invest in a new handset, you want to know it's going to last. Toughened glass helps to ensure that your screen won't shatter if you drop your phone, but what about the rest of the handset? A weak, plastic case could easily crack, but leaked photos show an all-metal case for Samsung Galaxy S6. There have been lots of rumors about the Galaxy S6, and this could be the week all is revealed at CES 2015 – and we might have a tough phone on our hands.

It's not clear where the images originate from, but photos over on Nowehere Else purport to show the empty shell of a Galaxy S6 constructed entirely from metal. If the photo prove to be genuine, it would mark an interesting change of direction for Samsung. We're used to seeing handsets with a metal frames and more plasticky look and feel, but an all-metal case would give the S6 a more high-end feel and result in the sort of build quality more often associated with HTC.
