Viber launched a new ephemeral messaging app named Viber Wink. Viber Wink is a an instant camera app which allows users to capture photos and videos share them with others. The sended file will be deleted once the receiver sees content. This app also provides an option to to set a timer for a message for 1 second, 3 seconds, 7 seconds, 12 seconds or No Time Limit.
In addition to launching a standalone Viber Wink app, Viber has updated its own app with some additional features such as ability to see which of your friends have read your message. You can now choose how long your photos and videos are stored for and there is a new share menu that makes sharing more easy. Finally, there are design enhancements to introduction screens.

If you want to send a Viber Wink message to someone who does not use Viber, you can simply send the upgrade link or can save the message in the device itself. The message will disappear once it has been seen by the recipient. Sending a Viber Wink message from inside the Viber app is also possible.
