Speedtest.net is a extremely well designed speed testing application for android devices. This app will shows the download and upload speed at which your android device was is currently operating at. This app has most friendly user interface with more statistics.
When you launch the app the interface will load and based on your phones GPS locator, the app will automatically choose the server site closest to you. You can change this from settings. When you test button is pushed the initial ping test will begin and ping speed will be displayed. Then download test will run and it'll mapped out a line chart for you. When the download test is completed, the upload test will commence. When upload test is over results are showed and stored in logs. You can also share the results with anyone you like.
